UK SERIES 8

Corinthian released MicroStars UK Series 8 in August 2004, with the series being much small than previous ones, consisting of just 22 different figures.

There were 16 players in their respective club kits and 6 in international kit, the 16 club players were found in Orange capsules, while the international kit figures were in Silver capsules.

A single player pack and 3 player pack were produced, with the single player packing containing 1 Powerpodz which would have an Orange capsule inside, retailing at £1.49 and found in the usual retailers.

The 3 player pack contained 1 Powerpodz and 2 additional capsules, one of which was guaranteed to be Gold and a Silver capsule which would have one of the 6 international kit figures inside. The 3 player pack was sold in retail stores and also available from Corinthian direct, priced at £3.99

14 of the figures were also included in Japan Miniatures Series 5, the 8 which remained exclusive to UK Series 8 are the Barcelona duo of Ronaldinho and Rustu Recber, and the 6 international kit figures, those 8 were not released in any other series.

The figures were sealed into clear plastic bag and placed inside a capsule, all being released on 6 different base colours which are Green, Red, Blue, White, Silver and Gold, with the Gold base figures being found in Gold capsules. The goal keeper figures have 4 different MC codes per base colour. A collector's information leaflet was also produced for the series.
