Corinthian added a further 8 figures into the Powerpodz, with UK Series 3 consisting of 6 strikers and 2 goal keepers.​

Jorg Albertz represented the SPL for Rangers, with the other half of Glasgow represente by Henrik Larsson for Celtic, with him featuring his new shaven head. Emergin talent Alan Smith was released for Leeds United, while veteran forward Teddy Sheringham was released for Manchester United.

Emile Heskey was released in the home kit of Liverpool, joined by Dutchman Jimmy F.oyd Hasselbaink for Chelsea. The 2 goal keepers were Neil Sullivan for Tottenham Hotsur and Sander Westerveld for Liverpool.

There was no way to distinguish which figure was in each Powerpodz, so purchasing one meant you could open up a figure from Series 1, 2 or 3, with the series 3 figures coming with an updated collector's information leaflet.

All 8 figures were also released as part of Japan Miniatures Series 1, with the figures in Japan being released inside a single box and coming with their own collector's information leaflet.
