MATCH MAGAZINE SPECIAL

Corinthian had a regular feature in the Match Magazine called 'Game On' which gave collectors up to date information on all current and upcoming releases, along with tips for playing the World Club League game.​

The February 17th 2001 issue of Match Magazine came with a special figure, which was not available any other way, this figure was goal scoring legend Gabriel Batistuta in Argentina home kit.

Batistuta was only produced on a Green base, however he does carry 3 different MC codes, the reason for this is to do with the base ratings as used in the World Club League game (WCL)

Corinthian also gave away another figure with Match Magazine, which was England manager Sven Goran Eriksson. This figure was not an exclusive however, it was the exact same figure as was released n UK Series 5. The figure was released on all 6 base colours with the collector code starting MGR (Manager)
