JAPAN MINIATURES SERIES 2

Following swiftly on the heels of the success of Japan Miniatures Series 1, Corinthian released Miniatures Series 2.

Japan Miniatures Series 2 consists of 49 figures, with all but the 3 Chaser figures being part of UK Series 6, this was essentially just UK Series for the Japanese market, with the inclusion of the Chaser figures.​

There were 4 regular figures, then 6 away kits which were classed as Special Edition, with the regular box series having David Beckham in England home kit form UK Series 5 and Junichi Inamoto in Fulham home kit as the Chaser figures.

 

 

As with Miniatures Series 1, there was also an Extension version for series 2, which saw the exact same 48 figures but with the added Chaser figure of Roberto Baggio in Brescia away kit, making him the Extension Chaser exclusive.

 

 

The figures were released in single mystery boxes, each mystery box contained one randomly packed MicroStars figure, which could be on one of the six base colours, which are Green, Red, Blue, White, Silver and Black, with there being the regular box and the extension version produced.

A collectors information leaflet also came issued with the figures which detailed those available in the series, with the text being in Japanese, with a regular edtion version and an updated leaflet which showed Baggio as the Chaser for the Extension version. The boxes were released inside a CDU (Counter Display Unit), with the distributor for the series being New Wave, who's store was called Foot Circle.
