JAPAN MINIATURES SERIES 13

Japan Miniatures Series 13 was dedicated to the German Bundesliga, with 21 figures from 6 Bundesliga clubs, along with 3 special figures from the English Premier League, making 24 figures to collect in total.

All 24 figures and their MC codes are exclusive to this series, however Corinthian did  produce a box set which has the 21 Bundesliga club players included, all on a Gold base. There was no extension edition released for Miniatures Series 13.

The 6 German Bundesliga clubs represented are Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen, VFB Stuttgart, HSV Hamburg, Hertha Berlin and Schalke 04, with some truly top names amongst them like Kahn, Van Der Vaart, Klose and Schweinsteiger.

Miniatures Series 13 also had 3 Special Figures included, which are Steven Gerrard for Liverpool and Chelsea attacking duo of Arjen Robben and Didier Drogba. The collector's information leaflet does not list them as Chasers, the term used is 'Special Figure' so I do not believe they were as scarce or as rare as a conventional Chaser figure was.

The figures were released in single mystery boxes, each mystery box contained one randomly packed MicroStars figure, which could be on one of the seven base colours, which are Green, Red, Blue, White, Silver, Gold and Black.

 

 

A collectors information leaflet also came issued with the figures which detailed those available in the series, with the text being in Japanese. The boxes were released inside a CDU (Counter Display Unit) with 24 boxes per CDU, with the distributor for the series being New Wave, who's store was called Foot Circle.
