ACTION POSE KICKERS SET 1

Corinthian were always looking to ensure their collector club members received the best deals, whilst also looking to offer exclusive product, not available to non members, a perfect example of this is the Action Pose Kickers Set.

Spring 2002 saw Corinthian launch the 'Team For a Tenner' offer, which allowed Collector Club members to purchase 11 figures for just £10, which also included 1 of the exclusive Action Pose Kicker figures.

The 'Team For A Tenner' offer contained:

• 3 Royal Blue Capsules - Figures from previous 6 series

• 1 White Capsule - International kit figures

• 2 Gold Capsules - Figures from Series 6 and were guaranteed to be Gold base

• 2 Silver Capsules - International figures from Series 6

• 2 Red Capsules - International kit figures

• 1 of the 6 special action pose MicroStars

This was the very first version of 'Team For A Tenner' Corinthian did produce other versions as and when the stock needed to change. As part of the offer you were allowed to choose which of the exclusive Action Pose Kicker figure you wanted to order, however the base colour would be randomly chosen.

The figures released as Action Pose Kickers were Michael Owen and David Beckham in England home kit, Raul in Spain home kit, Luis Figo in Portugal home kit, Rivaldo in Brazil home kit, Fabien Barthez in France home kit. All were released on the 6 base colours, Green, Red, Blue, White, Silver and Gold, however Beckham was only released on Gold base.

The David Beckham Action Pose Kicker figure was also included as part of the MicroStars Collector Club 2002 Membership package, which cost just £10 for a year's membership

These Kicker pose figures were an instant hit with collectors, as they offered some uniquely different to the collection
