FIRST EDITION COLLECTOR'S SET 1

In addition to the regular release MicroStars, Corinthian also released some Collector Club Box Sets, which were available exclusively to collector club members.

First Edition Collector's Set 1 & 2 were made available initially at the annual Corinthian Convention, taking place at Villa Park on April 28th & 29th, with Sunday the 29th labelled MicroStars Day. Each set was priced at £20 but with an offer to purchase both sets for just £30, the packs were also available via mail order to collector club members.

Set 1 contains 8 figures on a Gold base, with the MC number matching that of the figure previously released in MicroStars Series 1, however the figures do not have any player ratings under the base instead they are stamped 'First Edition 1 of 2500'

Corinthian made just 2,500 sets, with every set coming issued with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity.
