CORINTHIAN CONVENTION
SPECIALS 2007

Corinthian held their annual Convention at Villa Park on the 2nd June 2007.​

Everyone who attended the convention was given the figure of Diego Maradona in Argentina home kit on a Gold base absolutely FREE! As with the other Convention give away specials, Maradona was strictly limited to one per person, a truly excellent figure in an iconic kit, making him a must for every collector.

Corinthian produced a set of 7 legends figures, all on a Gold base, which were exclusively available for purchase at the 2007 Convention. We have the Brazilian duo of Zico and Socrates, Enzo Francescoli for Uruguay, Dejan Savicevic for Yugoslavia, Claudio Caniggia For Argentina, Davor Suker for Croatia and Ruud Gullit for The Netherlands.

6 of these legends figure also appeared in Japan Miniatures Series 10, in their respective club kits, the only one who didn't is Suker, who's only other appearance asa MicroStars figure was in UK Series 2, for West Ham United, with the figure also being included in the Collector's First Edition Set 4.

 

 

Corinthian also produced a further 4 exclusive MicroStars figures, one figure was given away free for every £10 spent on MicroStars at the Convention. The 4 figures are Samuel Eto'o in Cameroon home kit, Rafael Marquez in Mexico home kit, Gianlua Zambrotta in Italy home kit and Lilian Thuram in France home kit.
