COLLECTOR'S SET 5

In addition to the regular release MicroStars, Corinthian also released some Collector Club Box Sets, which were available exclusively to collector club members.

 

 

Set 5 contains 8 figures on a Gold base, with all players being in their respective national away kits. What separates this from the First Edition sets is that all 8 figures were exclusive to the set, they were not released by Corinthian in any other format, the only way to get them was as part of this set.

This set was well received by collectors and an instant hit, as it contained exclusive figures of top stars in interesting away kits. Due to the popularity of the set it can actually be hard to locate one now in the secondary market.

Collector's Set 5 was released in Spring 2006, priced at just £15 and available via mail order only, t Collector Club Members.

Corinthian made just 2,500 sets, with every set coming issued with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity.
